Supporting moms on Maui with access to obstetrics coverage and care

As a result of the discontinuation of maternity care services at the Maui Lani Physicians and Surgeons private practice, an estimated 30 to 55 women per month not receiving care from Kaiser Permanente are currently without access to maternity care on Maui.

Kaiser Permanente is working to provide access to essential maternity care and coverage for women on Maui. There are seven OB-GYN physicians at Kaiser Permanente who live and practice care on Maui. We are also in the process of hiring additional clinicians to address the need for pregnancy coverage and care on the Valley Isle.

We can work with employer groups to create an opportunity for their employees to switch to Kaiser Permanente coverage. Please share this information with your clients.
