As part of an effort to improve the broker experience, Kaiser Permanente is launching online self-service tools.
Brokers can now initiate a broker of record (BOR) change request form online and send it electronically to customers for review and signature or upload a signed customer letter requesting a BOR change. Brokers can also track the real-time status of BOR change requests on their dashboard. Upon processing a BOR change request, we will notify all parties by email.
To use this tool, sign in at business.kp.org and initiate a BOR change request from the link on your dashboard. (The current process of brokers submitting a BOR customer letter or form to their account manager is still available.)
Note: This tool is not available in KP Washington, or for the KPIF and Medicare lines of business.
